Hello, World! (of course)

Our first blog post, aptly named Hello, World! in computing tradition. The server stack for Make Place has just been set up and you're reading our first update!

Right now we've got plans for 2 deployments Spokes People and Streets for People. These projects are MRes projects here at Open Lab. The two projects are using Make Place as a platform to perform their investigation. Spokes People is a conversation between bike users and the council using near miss data to try inform road planning. Streets for People is an investigation into how younger people interact with town planning, specifically looking at how we can engage them both on and offline.
